Natural Dye Field Trip - For Grades 6-12 ONLY
(Only offered at Navy Yard Farm)

City Growers is excited to offer a new 90-minute field trip for grades 6–12, This workshop includes a guided farm tour, an introduction to the history and science of natural dyeing, and a hands-on design activity where students create and take home their own naturally dyed bandana using plant materials grown on the farm. Through this experience, students explore sustainable practices while examining the environmental impacts of fast fashion and climate change.

This workshop is currently offered exclusively at our Navy Yard Farm location. Due to additional materials and labor costs, this workshop is priced at a higher rate.
