Pollination Exploration Field Trip:

This workshop is designed for students to explore the fascinating world of bees and other pollinators! Students learn why native pollinators are essential for healthy ecosystems, how they support the growth of plants and food, and the challenges they face in urban environments. On Brooklyn Grange Rooftop Farm, students explore how creating habitats for these bees helps sustain local biodiversity and strengthens our food system. This immersive, hands-on field trip includes expert insights, close sensory exploration of different types of bee habitats, and activities that highlight the vital role native pollinators play in keeping our environment and communities thriving. Curriculum content and activities are adapted to be developmentally appropriate for each age group and grade level.
